A Happy/Sad day

Today is a happy/sad kind of a day.

Happy because Ms. Lucy turns 3!

Hard to believe it's been 3 years since I brought this home from the hospital. 

Check out my crew! They were so little and sweet. 

Tonight is cake and ice cream and she is super stoked. We sure do love our little Lue. 

Now the sad news.

This morning my Grandpa Peck passed away.

He was much adored and loved and will be truly and deeply missed. 

He's been sick for a long time, but he never lost his love of family or his sense of humor. He always had a smile for all of us. 

The holidays will be a little bit dimmer without grandpa this year.

We love your grandpa! Thank you for being such an inspiring part of my life. You showed me how to love unconditionally, to smile through the pain, and to always remember that family is the most important thing.

   Ahhh Jill!! Definitely Happy/Sad!! So happy for LUCY!! She is such a cutie! And i'm sooo sorry for your loss! :(

   Sorry about your Grandpa. The Holidays are a hard time to loose someone you love:-(

   So sorry about your grandpa. Losing grandparents is such a sad part of life. But celebrating birthdays is such a happy part! Enjoy her day!
