Got the bill today for Lucy's vomit doctor visit.
You know the one where he shoved the stick too far down her throat, making her gag and barf all over me? The one while I sat there reeking of puke, he informed me that it was just a "bug", go home and put her to bed? The one where he then he headed off to the next patient leaving me with a giant mess to clean up,  soaking wet clothing and a vomit soggy toddler that wanted to be held?
Yeah.....that one.
83.00 bucks! (after insurance, of course)
Anyone else find that a bit obnoxious?
Thinking in my other life, I should be a doctor.

    Oh man! that is ugly!

you should send him the payment with a bill of your own in it for
your janetorial services due to his mistake.

I feel your pain. We keep getting bills every day for Kevin's knee surgery. I thought the one for $1000 would cover it..but then the anesthesiologist bill, then the physical therapy, then the doctor's bill, then the hospital bills...getting the bills is about as much fun as toddler puke..well, maybe not quite as much fun...BUT, I am still not sure the Obama solution is any better....

That stinks. But I promise I could paint a not-so-pretty picture from the doctor's side of things, believe me. Insurance companies are why things are so expensive.

The Doc on Little House? Got paid with EGGS. People used to pay out of pocket, yes, but it was reasonably priced. And then insurance companies started cropping up and that's what started the rising costs and the demise of health care delivery. I could write a book on my opinions on this. UGH.

You should switch doctors. Not because of the money (insurance is to blame for that one, I think), but for the way he treated you (and Lucy) after she threw up. Come on doc, have a heart!
