One more reason that I love having a girl.

Lue found Kade's recorder from school and we were all serenaded by her lovely music for the evening. (There was dancing and everything, folks.)  Halfway through her concert she found a nappy, red ribbon and asked me to tie it on the end to make it more "peetty."
Of course I obliged, and dug out my camera to snap a few shots.

My boys would NOT EVER think of putting accessories on their musical instruments. Peetty is just not in their vocabulary.  Thank goodness I have someone around here that appreciates the finer things as much as I do.

   2 girls are even funner. Savannah has just figured out that little sisters make very willing models.
   
   Some mornings they will come down & Sav will explain to me Libby's outfit, hair, & makeup (yes I let my 6 yr old wear makeup)...it's my own private makeover reveal. LOVE it!

   how cute is that! My too little girls each got a recorder for Christmas of course they were pretty! pink and purple. Girls are the best :)
