Kade loves stuffed animals. He always has and I think he secretly always will. He is currently stuffed animal free except for his webkins, but this is only because friends come into his room and that would be WAY too embarrassing.

The best part about Kade's animals is their names. He had a beaver named Bucky, an eagle named Eagla, a dog named Ruffy, you get the idea. Not the most original but they are all named with love.
This story is about his stuffed owl. After a long, hard thought he decided the name Hooters would be the perfect name. We had to encourage him to think of other options because a 7 year old carrying around an owl named Hooters just wouldn't do. So after much pleading and begging on our part to rethink things, he grudgingly changed it's name too.....

Pecker.

We totally didn't have the heart to make him change it again so Pecker it stayed. We did get a few looks, but Kade was a happy kiddo.
One mysterious day, Pecker disappeared, never to be seen again. Kade searched high and low, but Pecker was nowhere to be found.

Hmmm........ Such a mystery.

That is so CUTE! My Aubree has the same LOVE of stuffed animals and also has given them each names nothing quite as funny. I am sure one day he will understand why his owl was lost and thank you for it :)

Savannah always had some cute names for her animals, dolls, and Barbies: some Barbies were "Wanda", "Juicy", "Vivian", and "Spaghetti". My favorite was a rabbit named "R. McBunny"

But Libby did not follow her sister. At first, every pony was named "Pony", every baby was named "Baby"--except for one that she decided to mix it up and call "Baby Sitter".

Now they are all named Ellie, Ella, Shelly, or some other form of this.
