As summer drags on, the fighting amongst my children always seems to intensify. Little things become big deals to these cute boys and they aren't afraid to let everyone know. It seems the theme of August is DRAMA!

Things started early this morning at around 7:00a.m. Tanner TOOK a magazine from Kaden WITH OUT asking (could you just die?!?!?!) and then he BROKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least, that is what he told Kent.

Turns out, the cover came off the magazine from multiple readings and Kade was very, very unhappy about this. It was a total accident and Tan felt really bad.

Kent started in on the whole "when we live together, things get broken or ruined on accident" lecture and pointed out a few things that Kade had broken on accident. He explained that we have to have tolerance and patience with family members. Things just happen. We don't need to yell or freak out.

Kade replied with one word....... Touche'

Touche'? Where did that come from? (thank you Uncle Ryan :) Sometimes Kade amazes us with the things that float around in that little head of his. And with his ability to pull them out and use them at just the right moment.

Kent congratulated him on some good usage of the word touche' and that was that. Peace was restored and the magazine was mended.

But we were still all wide awake at 7:00 a.m. I think it's going to be a long day.
