Day 22


Today was Earth Day and how did I embrace our Mother Earth?

  • 106$ at Walmart, further padding the pockets of the LEAST Earth friendly place on the planet. 
  • A fridge, freezer and pantry full of every artificially colored drink, popsicle and jello. We needed to stock up on post tonsillectomy supplies and I let Wes pick out all his favorites....which he most happily did. 
  • 25 new plastic bags. (totally forgot the cloth ones, doh!)
  • A mega box of diapers and a mega box of pull ups. 
  • One new Barbie dress with straps that were promptly broken (on accident,)  and then tossed in the trash.  
All in all, not my best Earth day. Maybe better luck next year.

      Kind of an anti-Earth day, but with good reason. Hope the little guy's feeling better.

      Just use the plastic bags to wrap up your mega bag of dirty diapers and you're golden. Reduce, REUSE, Recycle!
